Before we can set off to go anywhere we must first know where we are going...what is the point of making a start on a journey when we dont even know where we intend to end up? Once we know where we are going then we can make a start....even better still, it would be good if we can plan our journey, or have some kind of map...just so that if we get lost we can find our way back...

We are all on a journey, whether we like it or not, whether we made a conscious or subconscious decision to do so, only Guru Jee knows. So, what do we do? Well, recognising the fact we are on journey is a valuable lesson, now imagine you've been sleeping a really deep sleep....suddenly you wake from this deep sleep. As your eyes begin to re-focus on the world you realise that you're in a car....

This car is moving very fast and YOU are at the steering wheel...this car of yours is on a motorway!!

So here's the scenario...you've just woken up and you find that you're at the wheel of a car that's travelling pretty fast down the motorway.......

Right! First reaction would be to get a grip and take control FAST! OK, so now you think you have control...you've gotta wonder where you are going. Imagine being on a journey and yet you have no idea to where it is taking you. Next reaction, read the road signs! But, your eyes are not yet fully focussed and you cant read what they are saying......

You look around and there are many vehicles on the road, all travelling on the same road. What's worse, the drivers inside these cars are fast asleep themselves!! There's a real danger that these drivers will crash into each other........some of them do....

But, you see some drivers who are wide awake and seem to know exactly where they are going, they are dodging all the sleepy drivers and blowing their horn as they pass them by in order to wake them up.........you decide that you will follow these 'awake' drivers and hopefully you will dodge the sleepy drivers yourself....you follow them a certain distance until even they disappear into the distance........they can help you no more

You press the jet water spray for your windscreen to clean the screen....your vision becomes a little clearer and you see a road sign in the distance.......it becomes clearer to read...you can just about make it out......D...............E............A......T....H........DEATH!! Oh no!

You panic!! You need to find a way to get off this motorway....you see a Toll station appearing in the distance.....you hear a beautiful voice from your passenger seat saying 'you will need to pull over here and pay them a fee if you want to get off this road...' You look over to your passenger seat and you see a beautiful, radiant being emanating an undescribable light sitting there.....

You are transfixed and you agree to pull over at this Toll...you read the fee that you have to pay at this toll and it reads 'YourSelf'.......you look around and you see so many cars driving straight through this Toll station....and you say 'why dont they have to pay a fee?'.....you are told that they are still asleep and they will end up paying a much bigger penalty.....so you agree to pay the fee.....

You are taken out of the car and then this super-light being takes the steering wheel and drives on....you feel so relieved and yet, you can still feel that you are sitting in the car...but you feel at ease that you are not at the controls....everything seems slower to you...the signs are much clearer and what's more there are additional signs that lead to a place beyond Death.....

As Death comes nearer you see a cliff-edge........as you approach this cliff-edge you have no fear....but you can clearly see the other cars falling off this cliff...to who knows where......the time comes for you to face this cliff-edge.......your front wheels go first.....then your back wheels...........and your car begins to fall.......

As your car falls the radiant light bursts out of the car........and now you're flying......as you glide on a beautiful cool breeze you see a majestic light similar to the one you saw in the passenger seat of your car....only this one is bigger.......all other lights are merging into this ONE LIGHT..........as you come nearer....you feel yourself saying...'at last, I've come home........'
