Every day Sikhs all over the world conduct their daily ardaas and in the course of the ardaas they utter with commitment and humilty "..raj karega khalsa aaki rahe na koye.." this is not sheer reading of line of shabad but an honest reflection of their desire for Sikh rule.

Sikhs fought valiantly against the moghuls and hundreds of thousand were were martyred.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh broght about the khalsa rule for a short period and made the dream come true. But when the british ssneakily stole away the Punjab from the Sikhs, the continuation of the Sikh sacrifice began yet again.

To free the Gurdwaras from the government and mahant control almost 500 Sikhs were martyred. Many were beaten, injured and damaged by the beatings.

In the independence struggle 71 % of those killed were Sikhs. In the wars with Pakistan and China, Sikh casualties and sacrifices for the nation were again in the top of the league. Almost 80% of the frontline martyred soldiers were Sikhs.

In the free Bangla Desh campaign again 80% of the frontline troops were Sikhs.

In all the Akali Morchas, the Indian independence struggles, The Punjabi suba Morcha, the emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi morchas ,in the 1st Delhi Dharam Morcha and later the second Dharam Morcha, pre Bhildrawala struggle and post Bhindrawala struggle, the Indian Peace keeping Forces -Sri Lanka, the Kargil conflict about 350,000 Sikhs were killed, arrested or injured.

In the present times, the police has committed the same atrocities upon Sikhs that the mughal regime committed upon them in 1600 to 1800s -then the british administration and later the fanatical muslim leaguers. The Sikhs have sufferd oppression, tortures, burnings, injuries denial of rights and opportunities, therefore, why should it be wrong to see the aspirations of the community in the Raj karega Khalsa..or should the Panth be stopped from singing its motivational and inspiring adjoinder Raj karega Khalsa...aaki rahi na koye ...if any one community that has suffered unparalleled suffering in all terms and forms ,then rightly it is the Sikh community, that continued to demand the sarbat da bhalla in all that suffering ...quite rightly needs to keep the spirit of Raj karetga Khalsa forever , where ever, and any how ever.
